The team Sally Winham and Paul Hughes have built is perfectly formed to provide flexibility within a framework of professionalism and expertise.
Winham Hughes Chartered Certified Accountants and Tax Advisers was borne out of Sally and Paul’s shared ethos: we are part of your business and our drive to succeed runs parallel to yours.
Sally Winham
Sally is proud to have clients in her portfolio who have been with her for more than a decade – a record which speaks for itself.
Sally’s overriding aim is to help clients plan their financial affairs in the most tax efficient manner possible. An integral part of her role is to help clients understand the figures produced and the reasoning behind the advice – that way clients can be comfortable with decisions being made.
Almost two decades as a Chartered Tax Adviser has given Sally a wealth of experience and her extensive professional knowledge and expertise is continually being added to by her on-going involvement with the Chartered Institute of Taxation. Having worked almost exclusively in Cambridgeshire and Lincolnshire she has a local knowledge which places her perfectly to advise on specific issues in relation to the geographical backdrop.
Paul Hughes
The term ‘accountant’ stops a long way short of describing Paul’s relationship with his clients – and that’s just the way he likes it. He is often called upon to attend management meetings or get involved in strategy brainstorms. The time he invests in understanding how a business operates places him perfectly to advise on development, implementation and delivery of accounting systems and overall business strategy.
Paul acts for individuals, partnerships and limited companies giving him a breadth of experience which he overlays on his local knowledge gained through working – and living for more than 30 years - in Cambridgeshire and Lincolnshire.
Tori Bradshaw
Tori joined Winham Hughes in November 2010 as an Association of Accounting Technician trainee.
She is spending time working across the company’s clients, taking on tasks under the supervision of Paul and Sally.
Becky Thrift
A former financial controller in a commercial environment, Becky spends much of her time working at clients’ sites managing their payroll and book-keeping. While some clients engage Becky’s services on a regular basis she also undertakes ad hoc work, to cover holiday or sickness for instance.
The Winham Hughes team also includes administrative and secretarial support staff.
